5-6 cups crispy rice cereal

½ cup raw sugar

1 cup honey

1 cup creamy natural peanut butter

Candy coated chocolate pieces (there are several brands that are dairy free, and food dye free)

1 bag of chocolate chips

Grease a 9×13 pan.

In a large sauce pot heat the honey and sugar over medium heat until bubbly. Remove pot from heat and mix in peanut butter until well combined. Now stir in crispy rice cereal until well coated. Press into the greased pan or pour onto parchment paper, let cool for 5 minutes and form into an “egg” shape.

In a double boiler, melt the chocolate chips. Pour the melted chocolate over the crispy rice cereal mixture and spread evenly or pour into a piping bag and pipe onto egg shaped treats. Let the chocolate completely set before storing and/or cutting.

Total Prep time: 30 minutes

Makes 12-18 squares or 12-14 egg shaped treats.
